playMAKE

playMAKE is a program of free craft workshops for young people!

*Please note that these workshop spaces are now all full!*

As part of Cruinniú na nÓg this year we are hosting a series of craft and design workshops for young artists!

playMAKE is an exciting opportunity for young people to explore the visual and craft side of theatre-making. We searched for an enthusiastic group of young set designers and curators aged 7-12 to join our design team for our exciting upcoming project- Sióg (Fairy) and we are now running these workshops every Saturday.

We are hosting six free craft-making workshops where our participants can learn new skills, express themselves creatively and have fun! These workshops include a number of different crafts and art activities.

These groups are working with professional theatre artists to design and make a variety of artwork pieces that will be put on display in Tymon North Park as part of an outdoor nature gallery. This nature gallery will be open to the public and also double up as part of the set for a performance in the summer.

Participation in these workshops is free of charge and participants can choose to attend one or multiple sessions. Places were very limited and were allocated on a first-come, first-served basis.
